Muhudu Cultural Group, a non-profit organization registered as a Community based organization, is a community initiative that was formed to link the community through programs that meet the local needs and are community driven participatory in nature with gender valuation by empowering the community with appropriate skills and resources. They seek to bring positive change in the face of the community through other players in order to address the challenges faced by the local community thereby trying to alleviate poverty. The mission of this organization is concerned with the well-being and improving the conditions of the orphans and vulnerable children, women projects, widows, widowers, men and youths who are disadvantaged due to their economic, social and cultural background.
Environmental conservation practices such as clean up and planting of trees exercises in the nearby schools
Extra-curricular activities and engaging with sports with the local community and school
Home visit/cultural exchange so as to learn diverse cultures thus interacting with the local community
Farm work which includes weeding, planting of local vegetables, digging and watering of crops
Jigger campaign treatment and eradication
